The Amalfi Cooking Class offers a complete experience of the cuisine of the Amalfi Coast, which will allow you to explore the terraced gardens, collect fresh ingredients and immerse yourself in Mediterranean flavours, learning to prepare typical dishes such as anchovies in love and spaghetti alla Nerano.

 

Enjoy a full meal accompanied by local wine, limoncello and coffee. You will also receive a diploma and all the recipes via email. An unforgettable experience between tradition and sustainability! IMPORTANT! REPORT ANY ALLERGIES!

 

The experience includes: Local guide and chefs; A walk in the lemon grove overlooking the sea, in the olive grove and in the vineyard, where we will talk about the importance of these crops in the Mediterranean diet and how the famous limoncello, wine and olive oil are produced. Savor the local culinary culture with a varied and seasonal menu; Tour of our typical terraced gardens, an ancient local cultivation method.

 

Visit to the garden where, after putting on gloves and taking the baskets, we collect fresh seasonal vegetables and herbs to use for the preparation of dishes during the lesson; Relaxation area by the lemon grove, on hammocks, enjoying a splendid sea view; Harvesting of ingredients directly from the garden; Participatory cooking lesson, guided step by step by our chefs; Four-course meal with dishes prepared during the course and other delicacies; Drinks (water, local wine, Amalfi limoncello, coffee); Kitchen utensils and recipes sent via email after the course; A diploma for your hard work!

 

 

 

Menu

Only fresh, seasonal ingredients from the garden and local farms will be used. For this reason, the cooking class menu varies depending on the season and the availability of products day by day. Below is a short list of some specialties that could be prepared during the course:

 

Fried courgette flowers stuffed with ricotta and anchovies;

Grilled provolone cheese between lemon leaves;

Eggplant rolls stuffed with ham and caciocavallo;

Fried anchovies stuffed with provola (in love);

Scialatielli handmade "alla Norma";

Handmade spaghetti "alla Nerano";

Handmade lemon ravioli filled with prawns;

Handmade gnocchi "Sorrento style";

Handmade tagliatelle "Bolognese";

Handmade broken candles "Genoese style".
